Girl, 2, Still Missing After Man Arrested In St. Clair Shores: Police
Officials believe the missing 2-year-old could be in the metro Detroit area.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — A 2-year-old Lansing girl is still missing after a man was arrested in connection to her kidnapping Monday morning in St. Clair Shores, police said.
The girl, Wynter Smith was last seen Sunday night in Lansing around 11:30 p.m. with 26-year-old Rashad Maleek Trice in a 2013 white Chevrolet Impala, police said.
Trice, who has Detroit area ties, was arrested early Monday in St. Clair Shores after a brief police chase, but police have not found Wynter Smith, officials said. Officials believe she could be in the metro Detroit area.

Wynter Smith was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with rainbows and had braided shoulder-length hair.
Lansing Police said officers have been going from door to door, talking to the community and have wrongly been hearing officers found Wynter Smith. As of Monday night, police said officers were still looking for the 2-year-old.
