Girl, 7, Fatally Hit By Car At St. Clair Shores Park: Police

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — A 7-year-old girl was killed Tuesday afternoon after she was hit by a car in St. Clair Shores, according to police.

The car struck the girl at 3:20 p.m. at Blossom Heath Park, which is located on Jefferson Avenue near 10 Mile Road, police said.

The girl was taken to a nearby hospital where she died, police said.

Officials impounded the car that struck the girl and said "all parties are cooperating" with investigators, police said.

No further information was released by police.
