Give a Neighbor a "Hand" with Bright Side Dental

November 10th through November 24th, all Bright Side Dental offices will host a “Give a Hand for the Holidays” Food Drive through Gleaners Community Food Bank. This food drive encourages donations of either $5 or five pounds of non-perishable food items to be donated for the families in our local communities to have a happy and healthy holiday season.

The food that Bright Side Dental collects will be distributed through Gleaners’ 500 partner agencies throughout five counties in the Michigan area. These agencies include schools, shelters, food pantries, soup kitchens, and church-based programs.

The campaign raised 900,000 meals in 2013 with the help of donations from community businesses and partners. This year, Bright Side Dental hopes to help them reach an even higher goal of 1,000,000 meals!

“We are excited to be able to help the Gleaners Community Food Bank continue to provide for our neighbors around Metro Detroit. We try to help as much as we can during these times and the food drive is a great way to support and get the community involved,” said Pam Lenning, Public Relations Director of Bright Side Dental.

Bright Side Dental donation centers are located in Canton, Clarkston, Farmington, Livonia, Royal Oak, St. Clair Shores, Sterling Heights, Southfield and Warren. All locations will be collecting all monetary donations, canned goods, and non-perishable food items until the close of business on November 24th.
