Innocent Man Killed, 4 Juveniles Arrested After Macomb County Police Chase Ends In Crash: Police
Investigators believe the suspects are connected to at least 15 vehicle thefts and attempted thefts in Warren over the past 48 hours.
WARREN, MI — A man was killed and four juveniles were arrested after a crash following a police chase in Warren early Thursday, according to police.
Officers tried stopping a silver Dodge Ram at 1:58 a.m. near Fairfield and Georgiana when they saw multiple people inside the truck wearing ski masks, according to police.
The truck sped away from officers and ran a red light at the intersection of Schoenherr and Eight Mile roads where it smashed into another vehicle, according to police.

Five people from inside the truck ran away from the scene, but officers were able to capture four of them, according to police.
A fifth person remains outstanding, according to police.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 48-year-old Detroit man, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, according to police.
