Machete-Wielding Woman Attacks Man In Macomb County: Sheriff
Police said they found the man with numerous cuts and took him to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
MT. CLEMENS, MI — A woman was arrested in Mt. Clemens on Friday morning after police said she attacked a man with a "machete-style weapon."
The 19-year-old man was riding his bike to work at 7 a.m. when the 28-year-old woman attacked him with the large broad blade in the area of Church Street and Gratiot Avenue, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office said.
Police found the man from Clinton Township with numerous cuts and took him to a nearby hospital for treatment, officials said. Police said the man's injuries were non life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses spotted the woman who attacked the man on foot a few streets away from the incident and alerted police to her, officials said.
The woman tried to hide the large blade from officers as they approached her, but she was eventually arrested without incident, officials said. Police also confiscated the machete, officials said.
