Substitute Teacher Watches Porn, Touches Himself In Macomb Co. Classroom: Police

WARREN, MI — A Livonia man is in trouble after he was caught watching porn and touching himself while working as a substitute teacher in a Warren classroom, according to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office.

Francesco Iaquinta, 62, was charged with distributing sexually explicit, visual or verbal matter to children and obscene disorderly conduct.

He was placed in jail with a bond set at $25,000. His next court date is scheduled for Oct. 8.

If convicted for the distributing sexually explicit, visual or verbal matter to children, he faces up to two years in prison.

Prosecutors said Iaquinta was working as a substitute teacher at the Academy of Warren on Sept. 24, when he began watching pornography and touching himself in the classroom.

There were children in the classroom at the time of the incident, according to police.

Officials believe it was Iaquinta’s first time working at the Academy of Warren as a substitute teacher.
