Macomb County HS Security Guard Accused Of Having Sex With Student

EASTPOINTE, MI — A Macomb County high school security guard is facing charges after having sex with a student, the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office announced Thursday.

Darieon Craig Lamar Webster, 26, of Detroit, was charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the third degree. He was placed in jail with a bond set at $150,000.

If he is released from jail, he must wear a GPS tether and have no contact with minors. He also cannot use the internet. His next court date is scheduled for Oct. 30.

If convicted on both charges, he faces up to 30 years in prison.

"This is a serious breach of trust and responsibility," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido. "When someone in a position of authority abuses that trust, it harms not only the victim but the entire community."
