Bomb Threat At Macomb County High School: Student Faces Charges

A 15-year-old student threatened to blow up his high school in Macomb County after a confrontation with the principal, prosecutors said.

FRASER, MI — A 15-year-old student is in facing felony charges after threatening to blow up Fraser High School, the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office said.

The teenager made the threat after a verbal confrontation with his principal, prosecutors said. He was charged with a threat of terrorism, which is a 20-year felony, and resisting and obstructing, which is a two-year felony, prosecutors said.

The judge denied him bond and ordered a mental health evaluation.

"This nonsense needs to stop! Students need to refrain from making these threats and ruining their futures," Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido said.
