Man Wanted in String of Break-ins Turns Self In
St. Clair Shores police have been searching for Kory Kordell Smith since Feb. 15 for a string of break-ins and evading arrest by the Michigan Department of Corrections.

St. Clair Shores Police announced Monday the 40-year-old Detroit man wanted in a string of robberies has turned himself in to Detroit police.
Police have been looking for Kory Kordell Smith since Feb. 15, when they released a photo and description of 5-foot-8-inch tall, 250-pound male, who allegedly robbed , and .
Officers were also searching for a four-door, white 2001 Cadillac Seville STS that they believe was driven by Smith. They were able to recover the sedan Wednesday.

The Michigan Department of Corrections was also searching for Smith for a parole violation for a home invasion charge in 2000 in Wayne County.
Smith may be arraigned Tuesday in St. Clair Shores.
