Motorcyclist Killed In Macomb County Crash: Police
Police said the motorcyclist was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic before he eventually hit a Chevrolet pickup.
WARREN, MI — A motorcyclist was killed in a Thursday morning crash in Warren, according to police.
Police said a man was riding a motorcycle west on 12 Mile Road, speeding and weaving in and out of traffic before he eventually hit a Chevrolet pickup truck near Imperial Drive at 7:35 a.m.
Witnesses performed CPR on the man before he was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, according to police.

The motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to police.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the crash and is cooperating with police, according to police.

Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash for the pickup driver, but were still waiting for autopsy results on the motorcycle rider.
Officials shut down 12 Mile Road near Hoover Road to investigate the crash. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
