After investigating, officers identified the driver as a 15-year-old missing/runaway from Jackson County, who was reported missing on Sept. 25, police said.

While officers arranged to have her picked up by her guardian, they learned she may be pregnant and a victim of sex trafficking, police said.

Officers transported the young girl to a local hospital and said after an examination she'll be released to her guardian.

Police said they believe the girl was trafficked in Detroit and are investigating to locate her traffickers.
