Multiple Shot, Injured In Metro Detroit Shooting: Police
Police did not release a motive for the shooting or any descriptions about the suspected shooter(s) or the vehicle they were inside.
EASTPOINTE, MI — Multiple people were injured in a Monday night shooting in Eastpointe, according to police.
Two men and two women, all in their early 20s, were taken to a nearby hospital where the extent of their injuries was not immediately known, according to a WDIV report.
Officers found the victims suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately began to render aid at roughly 9 p.m. in the 23000 block of Kelly Road north of Nine Mile, according to police.

Investigators then learned the shooting happened a few blocks away in the 19000 block of Dijon Avenue, where they found numerous shell casings in the roadway, according to police.
The Victims told officers they were parked in a car on the street in front of a home when another vehicle pulled up alongside them and someone inside opened fire, according to police.

Investigators also found numerous bullet holes in the front of the home where the victim’s vehicle was parked Monday night, according to police.
Investigators talked to the residents of the home and they do not know yet if the residents played a role in the shooting, according to police.
