ROSEVILLE, MI — An 85-year-old Oakland County woman was killed and two others were injured in a Roseville crash Thursday night, according to police.

The crash happened at 9:30 p.m. on southbound Groesbeck Highway near Martin Road, according to police.

A 26-year-old man was speeding on Groesbeck when his car struck the elderly woman's vehicle, according to police.

The 26-year-old man and a woman, who was a passenger inside his car, were taken to a nearby hospital, according to police.

The woman was in serious condition while the man was being treated for minor injuries, according to police.

Investigators believe alcohol played a role in the crash for the man and arrested him.
