The Orbitsuns Bingo at VFW Bruce Post

The Public is invited for a Great Night of Live Music, Pub Style Bingo and Santa Baby Pin Up Contest at VFW Bruce Post on Saturday December

VFW Bruce Post 1146 host The Orbitsuns’ Drunken Bingo on Saturday December 26, 2015. The event is free and open to the public ages 21 and over. Doors are at 6 pm, and Bingo will start around 8 pm, followed by a “Santa Baby” Pin Up contest, and dance inducing live set by honky-tonk rockers The Orbitsuns.

VFW Bruce Post 1146 is located at 28404 Jefferson Avenue in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

Celebrating 80 years, “The Bruce” provides a social gathering place, including services and assistance, for active military and veterans.

At The Orbitsuns’ Drunken Bingo, the public is invited to attend with proceeds from the low-cost cash bar benefitting “The Bruce’s” veteran programs, in addition to the building’s maintenance costs.

“Our motto is honoring the dead by serving the living,” explained VFW member John Jaissle. “We hope the public will join us for a fun and affordable night of live entertainment, and games” he added.

“Drunken Bingo” is pub style bingo. Participants play for free, competing for fun prizes including branded key chains, beer koozies, CDs and more. When “Bingo” is achieved, everyone is encouraged to raise a glass and cheer “Bingo” in a celebratory toast.

Adding to the festivities is the “Santa Baby” Pin Up Contest. The contest has a $10 entry fee.

The Orbitsuns are a honky-tonk hybrid of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Elvis with a twist of Detroit Rock City and sly humor. Creating toe tapping tunes like their signature hit “Red Neck Disco,” The Orbitsuns pack dance floors across the Midwest and have shared stages with numerous country luminaries including Willie Nelson, David Allen Coe, Blake Shelton, and Sawyer Brown
