Photo Gallery: Huskies Kick Off Football Season Against Irish

There is always a certain electricity in the air whenever football season kicks off, and Thursday nights opener at was no exception.

Amidst a perfect late summer evening, the Huskies played host to Notre Dame Prep with the hopes of starting the season off on the right foot.

Turnovers, penalties, and stingy defense marked the game for both teams and the end result was a 14-0 victory for the Irish.

Huskies standout Zach Horne had a pair of interceptions, while Ryan Bradley also picked off a pass for Lakeview.

Unfortunately, the Huskies offense sputtered throughout the entire game and never really threatened to score.

Next up for Lakeview is Marysville on the road next Thursday evening.
