Police Seek Tips in El Charro Armed Robbery

St. Clair Shores police are investigating an armed robbery at 10:40 p.m. Aug. 11 of the restaurant.

Police report that as employees were closing for the night two suspects came rushing in and pointed a silver revolver and a handgun at employee and ordered them to the floor.

The men went to the safe, but it was locked, and they fled without getting any money. The men were dressed in black shirts and pants, and were also wearing ski masks.

A K9 search of the area followed the track to a nearby parking lot, but lost the scent. Anyone with information about the crime or who may have seen the incident is asked to call police at (586) 445-5305.
