Sheriff's Office Recruiting Event Saturday At Cabela's

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a few good men and women. The department will hold a recruiting event Saturday at the Chesterfield Township Cabela’s from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The sheriff’s office is looking to fill several positions. Dispatchers earn a salary of $48,524.17 and Correctional Deputies earn a salary of $49,494.16. The department offers benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, vacation, sick days, holiday bonuses, 401K, deferred compensation, and overtime opportunities.

Deputies from a variety of units — including the K-9, Crime Scene, Traffic Bureau, marine patrol, SWAT team, Mounted Division, Aviation Unit and ATV Division — will be available to answer questions from the public.

A K-9 demonstration will be held and a bounce house for kids will be on site. Cabela’s is located at 45959 Town Center Boulevard in Chesterfield Township.
