The most recent haul brings to about $4,000 the value of fragrances believed stolen by the pair, Chesterfield Township Police Detective Sgt. Deron Myers said. Thefts have also occurred in from stores in Northville, Shelby Township and Ann Arbor.
The man reportedly acts as a lookout while the woman stashes items in a white bag, somehow disabling security alerts.
Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information should call Detective Brian Chadwick at (586) 949-4255, according to a post on the Chesterfield Police Department’s Facebook page.
