WARREN, MI — A 19-year-old man died after he was hit by a car while working on a semi-truck along Interstate 696 in Warren on Monday, WDIV reports.
Investigators said the teen was working on a semi-truck that was parked along the freeway's shoulder near Mound Road at 10:45 p.m. when he was hit by a car.
He died at the scene, according to the report.

The driver of the car, a 60-year-old woman, stopped at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, according to the report.
Investigators do not suspect alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
