Toddler Found In Impounded Car At Metro Detroit Tow Yard: Police

EASTPOINTE, MI — A 13-month-old toddler was found inside an impounded vehicle Saturday in Macomb County, according to police.

Officers were called to a tow yard in Eastpointe after workers found the child inside the vehicle, according to police.

Police only shared a few details, but did say the child was alive and taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Eastpointe Police has not had prior contact with the vehicle, and was looking into the circumstances surrounding the car's impoundment.

Police did not release any other details.
