Warren Driver Flees Police, Crashes, Critically Injuring 2: Report
Police said a driver fled officers during a traffic stop and crashed into an SUV at the intersection of 10 Mile Road and Groesbeck Highway.
WARREN, MI — Two people were critically injured Monday night after police said a driver fled officers during a traffic stop and crashed into an SUV in Warren, according to multiple reports.
Police said officers tried to stop a Ford Mustang, but the Mustang took off, running a red light and crashing into an SUV at the intersection of 10 Mile Road and Groesbeck Highway.
After crashing, the driver of the Mustang got out a tried running away from police, but officers quickly captured him, the report said. Police said the passenger of the Mustang had to cut out of the car.

Both the driver of the Mustang and the female passenger were taken to a nearby hospital and listed in critical condition, reports said. The SUV suffered severe front end damage, but it was unclear Tuesday morning if the driver was injured in the crash.
