The Wyandotte-Downriver branch of the American Association of University Women is in high gear, preparing for its popular Annual Used Book Sale, to be staged at the Southland Mall on October 22 - 25.
Donations of books, as well as CDs, DVDs and audio-books are being collected at the Kroger store on Macomb Street in Grosse Ile and at the Southgate Public Library on Dix Road until September 30. Look for the marked barrels. We are in particular need of children’s books, adventure, science, and cookbooks this year.
