• Carlson girls swimming outlasts Grosse Ile late to repeat as Downriver Classic champions (thenewsherald.com) — Trenton's girls swim team made a strong showing at the Downriver Classic, finishing fourth overall and leading all schools with four event wins, including two by standout sophomore Charlie Cheney. The Trojans also grabbed a diving title and key relay points, helping shape a dramatic finish in which Carlson narrowly edged Grosse Ile for the team championship.
