• Woman stabs dog to stop attack in Berlin Township (bnd.com) — A woman injured in a serious dog attack in Berlin Township was taken to Corewell Health in Trenton for treatment of multiple bite wounds. Deputies say she stabbed the dog to stop the attack, and the owner later shot and killed it. Monroe County authorities and animal control are still investigating what led to the violent incident.
