-Trenton High Baseball vs. Wyandotte Roosevelt, Monday, May 16, 4 p.m. at Roosevelt. A big game in Downriver League between a pair of top-notch clubs. The Bears can gain some ground with a win, while Trenton needs to keep winning to keep pace with Southgate. At this time of year, every game is important, but this one is a touch more significant than the average game. Catch it. 

-Trenton boys and girls track regionals, Friday, May 20 at Livonia-Ladywood, 12 p.m. State playoffs begin. Need I say more?

-Trenton girls tennis regionals, Friday, May 20 at Grosse Ile, 9 a.m. It’s an early start, but it’s worth it. There is nothing better than the drama, intensity and thrills of the state tournament. Get out there and root the girls on against some of the top teams in the area.
