Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge OPEN HOUSE in the Humbug Marsh Unit with featured guest, Allison Krueger, Landscape Designer for the Refuge Gateway Restoration

Join us for an evening inside the Refuge Gateway for the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge and learn what progress has been made in the restoration of the site this year - an amazing waterfront view has been restored, the prairie grassland is taking shape, and over 300 trees in 2012 are being planted.

Allison Krueger, Landscape Designer with the project, will be in the Education Shelter to talk more about the site transformation and plans for the future.

4 - 5 pm Questions answered in the Education Shelter of Humbug Marsh

6 pm Walking Tour with Allison along the shoreline, be prepared to welcome in the gorgeous view of the lower Detroit River and western basin of Lake Erie!
