Presentation & Discussion: Complaints of a Dutiful Daughter

Providing care to an older adult or someone with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia is challenging. On Wednesday, August 8, 2012, Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency and Arbor Hospice are hosting an event that focuses on the emotional impact of the disease on caregivers.

The event includes a special showing of Complaints of a Dutiful Daughter and a short discussion. The video, Complaints of a Dutiful Daughter documents the various stages of Alzheimer’s disease and its emotional impact on her daughter. In addition, the video also corrects many misconceptions about Alzheimer’s disease.
