Family Gentle Dentists Offers Free Oral Cancer Screenings

BROWNSTOWN- April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month, and Family Gentle Dentists invites you to join them in the national screening campaign to stop oral cancer by offering FREE enhanced screenings on Friday, April 24, 2015 starting at 2:00 p.m. The standard fee for a VELscope cancer screen well plan at this office is $43.

Registered Dental Hygienist Karla Snyder-Brooks will be offering oral screening services to the first 20 new patients who call to schedule an appointment. Early detection between ages of 18 and 40 is the best defense for oral cancer, and screenings are highly recommended for all ages. Karla explains, “Oral cancer kills as many people as melanoma, and is more common than leukemia.”
