Great Escape: Trenton Remembers Our Veterans

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.

This week's Great Escape is a way to relax while remembering those who have served or are currently serving the country.

The city of Trenton is holding a Memorial Day parade May 28 at 10 a.m. beginning at .

Color guards, veterans, community groups, bands, floats, and an Air Force fly-over will join the parade to celebrate the holiday.

Following the parade, a memorial service will be held at the library to unveil and dedicate the new granite war monuments honoring those who died in the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.

This moving event includes patriotic music, military salutes, and special guests.
