Nasty Night For The Trojans
It was a cold, rainy night at Southgate Anderson High School, but the scoreboard was uglier as Trenton lost their second straight game, 29-7.
The Titans of Southgate Anderson hosted Trenton for their homecoming game in the rain and bitter cold. The Trojans were accomodating guests.
Trenton struggled once again to put the ball in the endzone, losing 29-7 Friday night.
To make things more frustrating, the Trojans were in the game for the most part moving the ball fairly effectively getting down to the goaline three times, but each time they came away scoreless--two fumbles and turnover on downs.

"We don't have an identity on the goaline," said head coach Bob Czarnecki. "It's just tought not having an option that we are confident will punch it in."
There were problems on the other side of the ball, too, primarily Titans running back Caleb Wilson who rushed for a Southgate Anderson single game 296 yards and four touchdowns.

"Probably 200 of those yards were on four carries," Czarnecki said. "It's tough on the defense to keep asking them to make stops. When the offense is struggling, they start pressing and give up big plays."
The Trojans came out of the gate soaring when senior Nolan Smith ran it in on his team's first possession of the game to jump out to a 7-0 lead. The Titans answered right back with a touchdown of their own with a 64-yard touchdown run by Wilson. The Trojans gave up safety on their next possession and never had the lead again.
With the loss, the Trojans have now made it tough on themselves to make the playoffs. Coming into Friday's game, Trenton had to win three of their remaining four games. Now, they must win out.
"They got to win these last three games. That should be all the motivation they need," Czarnecki said. "They're playing tough. It's not like their not playing hard, we just got to finish."
