At a glance: Big and athletic, Norvis Smith will be a key figure in the offense as both a running back and wide receiver for quarterback Chad Hamilton. Smith should provide a solid 1-2 punch with fellow running back Mike Czarnecki.
Smith also runs track and along with younger brother Terez, helped lead the basketball team to the district finals last winter.

On last season: "Last year I think we needed a little more communication. There wasn't that many boys that stepped up."
Personal goals this season: "I'm looking to just get some wins for Trenton. I think we've got a pretty good chance of making it to the playoffs."
Plans after school: "I want to go to college to play basketball or football or run track, one of the three. If not any of those three than I definitely want to go overseas."
