The streets of Trenton will play host to runners and walkers from throughout Downriver as St. Paul Lutheran Church hosts its 2nd annual Raise The Roof 5k / 1 mile Fun Run on Saturday, June 14, 2014. The route is flat and fast, beginning at St. Paul Lutheran Church, located at 2550 Edsel, and continuing through neighborhood streets and a paved running trail. Packet pickup begins at 7 a.m. followed by the Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. and the 5k at 9 a.m.
Event registration is available by mail or online at http://www.splconline.com/raisetheroof. Early bird registration ends
Saturday, May 31. Entry fees include a t-shirt (guaranteed if registered by May 31), raffle and awards for top overall male and female 5k finishers as well as the top three places in each 5-year age group.
Fees are as follows:
Early registration (through May 31): $25 – 5k; $10 – Fun Run
Late registration – online only -- (June 1 - 12): $30 – 5k; $15 – Fun Run

All proceeds from the event will benefit renovations currently taking place on St. Paul Lutheran Church's campus to help it become the center of activity for the Downriver community for generations to come.
