Successful Women's Health Care Classic

On June 12, the Women’s Health Care Classic was hosted for its 25th time. Over $255,000 was raised at the event to support the women’s breast care programs and services at Beaumont Hospitals Dearborn, Taylor, Trenton and Wayne. The Silver Anniversary event offered women-only golfing at Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club, while both men and women golfed at the Friends of the Women’s Healthcare Classic at Dearborn Country Club. Meals, cocktails, silent auction and awards were part of the activities that 185 golfers enjoyed.

Beaumont’s Comprehensive Breast Care Program integrates cancer prevention, early detection, rapid diagnosis, leading-edge therapies, and a variety of support, education and community-support programs. Proceeds from this event will help those going through treatment with free mammograms, wigs, transportation and nurse navigation services.
