Trenton High School Presents "Rehearsal for Murder" This Weekend

Friday and Saturday night, Trenton High School will performing their take on the teleplay "Rehearsal for Murder."

“Unusual form, a mystery. You take the audience by the hand and lead them in the wrong direction. They trust you and you betray them, all in the name of surprise.”

After some bad opening night reviews, actress Monica Welles is found dead. Her fiance, playwright Alex Dennison, refuses to believe that it was a suicide and suspects foul play. Dennison reunites the cast a year later for a cold reading of his new script. The actors are glad to be working together again, until Dennison’s true intentions are revealed. Every scene they read hits closer and closer to home, giving each of the parties a plausible motive for killing Monica. Suspicions arise, friends turn on one another, and the actors soon realize they are being held captive until the truth comes out.
