Trenton Soroptimists' Extend Thanks for Motorcycle Run Support

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE 15TH ANNUAL "SAVE THE GIRLS" RIDE

The Trenton Area Soroptimists would like to thank the many people, groups, and businesses who helped to make the 15th annual “Save the Girls” motorcycle ride a success. Motown Harley-Davidson allowed the 104 motorcyclists to begin and end their ride at their dealership.

Everyone enjoyed Chicken Shack meal after the ride. The band, Down River Dan, volunteered their time and talent to keep everyone entertained with classic rock. The event concluded with several types of raffles: spin the prize wheel, 50/50, wood-burning fire pit raffle, and a silent auction of several specialty items donated by local businesses and generous individuals.

The Trenton Soroptimists wish to extend gratitude to the Taylor volunteer reserve police and Motown H.O.G. Chapter who acted as escorts, as well as Motown Harley-Davidson for hosting this grand fundraiser. All proceeds of the ride will benefit the worthy cause of raising awareness of women’s health issues, domestic violence, and human trafficking.
