Trenton Street Fair Should Slow Fishing in City
Despite good walleye action and fine weather for dedicated anglers, the Trenton street fair should keep things relatively quiet on the river.

Walleye action off of the Trenton channel is up, though the l should slow down fishing in general around the city, according to Trenton Lighthouse owner Frank Chakrabarty.
“I’ve heard of a lot of guys doing limits on walleye,” said Chakrabarty. The walleye limit on the river is five fish per day, though anglers going south into Lake Erie are allowed six.
Despite this resurgence in walleye activity, Chakrabarty also said that silver bass and yellow-belly perch action is down going into this weekend.
