Trojans Mauled By The Bears
Wyandotte let Trenton have it Friday night in a 46-8 blowout at Roosevelt High School.
Not pretty.
For Trenton, that's the only way to describe Friday night--both the game and the weather.
In front of their rowdy home crowd in the pouring rain and on local television, the Wyandotte Bears put a shellacking on the Trojans with a 46-8 victory, 40 points of which came in the first half before the coaches eased up.

"They exposed just about every weakness we have tonight," Trojan coach Bob Czarnecki said. "There's a reason they are the defending league champs and they showed it tonight."
Wyandotte's standout wide receiver Devin Stewart started the scoring on a 27-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Kevin Matejko. After that it was a highlight show for the Bears running game, specifically star back Hunter Matt.

"That kid is a truck," Czarnecki said. "But you know what, he has trained and worked very hard to be that kind of player and it has paid off. He's phenomenal and he'll definitely be playing college ball somewhere."
The Trojans did manage to keep it close, but the second quarter is when it all fell apart as Matt's three touchdowns led the Bears to an astounding 34 unanswered points in the quarter alone.
Czarnecki admitted that his team was simply outmatched, but he also knows that his boys didn't help themselves much, either.
A handful of turnovers, missed throws, dropped passes, and missed tackles made a rainy dreary night all the more dreary for a team trying to bounce back from losing it's senior leader and top scorer Mike Czarnecki to a broken collarbone.
On that note, speaking to the player Czarnecki on the sideline, he is having surgery on Tuesday and he said that he expects to be back on the field in six weeks.
The game was voted as the game of the week in the Detroit metro area for who covered the game and will present highlights and a report on its 11 o'clock newscast.
The Trojans play Taylor Kennedy at home next week.
