Wayne County 4-H's Animal Education Day at TSC
Free event for all! Come face to face with animals, free books and give-a-ways
WAYNE COUNTY 4-H’S ANIMAL EDUCATION DAY
TRENTON — Wayne County 4-H presents Animal Education Day on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During this event, the public may visit the Tractor Supply Store, at3000 Van Horn, to learn about where the food they eat comes from. Attendees to this event will get a close-up and hands-on experience with agriculture during this event.
Animals are part of the day’s excitement, including cow, rabbits, goat, and pig. According to Glenda Weiss, Wayne County 4-H Program Coordinator, “It’s fun, experiential learning. Youth and volunteers from the Wayne County 4-H program will be sharing their animals as well as helping with instruction.”

Attendees will go home with goody bags packed with information and games about Michigan agriculture, all of which has been supplied by the agricultural commodity organizations.
Thanks to the Molina Foundation, youth attendees will also receive a free book. Over 2,500 books were donated for Wayne County 4-H to distribute to youth throughout the county.
