When Will Snow Begin in Trenton-Grosse Ile Area?
Southeast Michigan is under a winter storm warning through Monday morning.
Snow is expected to begin about 7 a.m. in the metro Detroit area, according to the National Weather Service.
“Detroit won’t see anything until about 7 a.m. Sunday and it will creep north,” said Rachel Kulik, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in White Lake Township, told the Detroit Free Press . “The farther north you go, the lighter it will be. Northern Oakland County could see 3.5 to 4 inches.”
A winter storm warning will remain in effect until 7 a.m. Monday. Snowfall is expected to pick up during the afternoon and be moderate to heavy at times. Expect about an inch an hour, with snow continuing into Sunday night before tapering off Monday morning.

A total accumulation of 10 to 14 inches is possible.
Wind chills will fall to about -10 Sunday night.
