Oakwood Physicians (OPi), the medical group integrated within the Oakwood Healthcare System, has expanded its roster with the recent addition of Christopher DeAngelis, DO.
Dr. DeAngelis, a resident of Grosse Ile, is a board certified internist and Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He will continue to see patients at his Woodhaven office, which will be renamed Oakwood MainStreet Internal Medicine. The office is located at 25000 Hall Road.
With more than 13 years of practice experience, Dr. DeAngelis received his medical education from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his internship and residency at Riverside Osteopathic Hospital. Currently, his practice is designated as a Patient Centered Medical Home.

Dr. DeAngelis has been affiliated with Oakwood Southshore Medical Center for 13 years. He has served as a member of the Oakwood Southshore Medical Center Board of Trustees, and was appointed to the Oakwood Healthcare System board in January 2013. He is a graduate of the Oakwood Physician Leadership Academy.
