1 Dead, 1 Arrested In Fatal Troy Shooting: Police

Police believe the shooting was an isolated domestic incident and that there is no threat to the public.​

TROY, MI — One person was arrested Monday afternoon after officers found a man dead inside a Troy apartment complex, police said.

Police found the man dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside a residence at the Charter Square Apartment Complex in the area of Big Beaver and Rochester roads at 3:45 p.m., police said.

Officers arrested a 25-year-old suspect in the apartment complex's parking lot without incident Monday afternoon, police said.

Officers also found a handgun at the complex, police said.

Police did not identify the victim as they worked to notify the man's family, police said.

Officials are still investigating the shooting, and the Troy Police Department asked anyone with information related to the shooting to call 248-524-0777.
