2 Arrested After Troy Hotel Party Fight: Police
Two women were arrested on outstanding warrants after one of them pulled a knife on party host, police said.

TROY, MI — A party at a Troy hotel turned violent early Sunday morning, and two Oakland County women were taken into custody on misdemeanor warrants, Troy police said. During the party at the Red Roof Inn, 2350 Rochester Court, one of the women pulled out a folding knife and held it against the abdomen of the woman who had rented the room and invited her friends to “hang out,” police said.
The two women who were charged, a 20-year-old resident of Southfield and a 19-year-old resident of Bloomfield Hills, fled the hotel after the fight broke out, but were arrested in a traffic stop, according to the Troy Police Department report.
Both women smelled of alcohol, and field sobriety tests were given, police said. The 19-year-old’s blood alcohol content was .11 percent and the 20-year-old’s was .14 percent, according to police.

Police said both women had outstanding arrest warrants. According to the release, the 20-year-old was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant from Birmingham for operating while impaired, and the 19-year-old was wanted in Birmingham for failure to appear – minor in possession and in Bloomfield Township for failure to appear – minor in possession of alcohol.
Both women were turned over to the Birmingham Police Department, police said.

The woman who filed the complaint declined treatment, but wants to seek criminal charges of assault and battery, according to the release.
