2 Shot, Injured In Troy Apartment Parking Lot, Shooter Loose: Police
Troy Police are looking for a shooter who shot two people in a Troy apartment parking lot Thursday night. The victims were listed as stable.
TROY, MI — Two people are recovering after police said they were shot Thursday night in the parking lot at a Troy apartment complex.
Police said two groups of men got into an altercation in the parking lot at The Gables of Troy Apartments, located at 700 Lamplighter St, just south of Interstate 75 and west of the Stephenson Highway at 9:52 p.m.
The shooter fired shots during the altercation, striking the two victims, and then ran away from the parking lot, police said.

Officers arrived and stopped a vehicle leaving the parking lot with the shooting victims in it and began treating the injuries, police said.
The victims were then taken to a nearby hospital and listed in stable condition Friday morning, police said.

Officers also found a handgun in the parking lot during a preliminary investigation, police said.
Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the public.
