23rd Annual Marketing & Sales Professionals Golfing Outing June 19 to Benefit Scholarships
TROY, Mich., March 31, 2015 – On Friday, June 19, the Marketing & Sales Executives of Detroit (MSED) will host its annual golf outing at Shenandoah Country Club, located at 5600 Walnut Lake Road in West Bloomfield, to benefit college scholarships.

Proceeds from the golf outing go toward scholarships that are awarded to juniors and seniors majoring in marketing and sales at local universities. The contributions from this event support the organization’s goal of fostering value for the sales and marketing profession in the community. Since 2002, MSED has provided more than $85,000 toward scholarships.
“This event allows us to help sustain the future of our organization of sales and marketing professionals, and we hope to inspire more students to pursue a career in the sales and marketing profession,” said Ryan Angott, chairman of the Golf Committee, MSED and corporate marketing director, Continental Services. “We hope to continue to see MSED prosper and help students reach their full potential.”

The golf outing will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and will be followed by a cocktail reception at 2:15 p.m., which will include hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, a silent auction, prizes and giveaways.
Registration is $160 for an individual golfer, $600 for a foursome and $750 for a foursome with a corporate sponsorship. The price includes green and cart fees, continental breakfast, lunch at the turn, two tickets for beverages on the course and admittance to the cocktail reception. For those wishing to only attend the cocktail reception, tickets are $50 per person.
Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $200 to $5,000. All sponsorships include signage at the event, recognition at the event and company logo on the MSED website. The Golf Committee is accepting donations for the silent auction, prizes and giveaways.
