9 Teachers To Get 2-Year Car Leases from Dealership
Auto group honors teachers in the communities where it does business.

TROY, MI – Nine area educators will drive a new car for two years under a Troy-based automotive group’s tribute to outstanding educators.
Winners in The Suburban Collection’s 2016 “Teacher of the Year” program will be announced by the Troy School District on Thursday, Feb. 11.

The Suburban Collection has been honoring outstanding teachers in the communities where it does business since 2002. Teachers of the Year at eight school districts — Troy, Farmington Hills, Utica, Novi, Waterford, Clarkston, Birmingham and Ferndale, as well as the Educator of the Year at Cranbook Schools in Bloomfield Hills — will get the no-cost, two-year leases.
“Educators are tremendously important to all of us as they do so much to teach and inspire our children,” David T. Fischer Jr., general manager of The Suburban Collection, said in a news release “Our program of rewarding outstanding educators has expanded over the years.

“It is our way of saying thank you and giving something back to the men and women who have contributed so much to the development and accomplishments of our children,” he said.
The teachers chosen by their school system as “Teacher of the Year” will select a vehicle from a list provided by The Suburban Collection dealership in their community.
