Airtime Trampoline And Game Park Opens in Troy

Troy can now jump for joy. AirTime Trampoline and Game Park, the first of its kind in Michigan, opened last Saturday on Big Beaver, near Rochester Road. 

Park owners Will and Pam Wannemacher marked the opening of their business last night with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Troy Mayor Janice Daniels, other city council members, as well as representatives from the Troy Chamber, and the Art Institute of Michigan, were at the event. The Troy High School marching band paraded around the 30,000 square-foot facility. 

Airtime features 15,000 square feet of trampolines. The largest jump area - featuring wall-to-wall trampolines - is divided by age. There’s also trampoline dodgeball, trampoline basketball courts and a foam pit. 

The park owners have hired DJs and bands for live music experiences. 

In addition to an arcade, the non-trampoline areas include a party room, and an old-school dodgeball court that doubles as a dance floor. 

The park is the brainchild of the Wannemachers, who live in Troy. Popular on the west coast, the couple decided to bring the concept to Michigan after much research. 

“We looked all over for sites.  We went to Miami, Austin, but we decided on Troy. It was the right location, demographics and there’s a great school district and lots of families,” Pam said. “We’re excited to be here. It’s been two years in the making.” 

AirtTime is located at 662 East Big Beaver. Cost to jump is $12 an hour and $8 an hour after,  Monday through Thursday. Weekends, the cost is $14 for the first hour and for an $10 additional hour. 

The park is open Monday-Thursday from noon until 10 p.m., Friday from noon until 11 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. until midnight, and Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Call 248-918-0909 or visit their website at www.airtimetrampoline.com.
