Troy police gave a Sterling Heights woman a ride, but not to her preferred destination.

But be careful what you’re asking for, a lesson a 24-year-old Sterling Heights woman learned early Friday when she called 911 to ask some friends at the Troy Police Department for a ride home from Joe Kool's Bar and Grille in Troy, WDIV, Channel 4, reports.
In the call, logged in about 12:30 a.m. Friday, Sims admitted she had too much to drink and needed a ride. The cab services were all busy, she said

A woman who called 911 to get a ride home from a Troy restaurant and bar after admitting she’d had too much to drink was arrested on several charges early Friday morning.
Alana Sims, 24, of Sterling Heights made the emergency call about 12:30 a.m., telling police that cab services were all busy and she thought some friends at the police station might be able to give her a ride home,

They gave Sims a ride, but to the jail after charging her with resisting, obstructing and interfering with an officer charge, the television station said.
