October 23, 2012 (TROY, MI) At the height of his career, Dr. C.P. Chambers, renowned Troy-based hair transplant surgeon, had appeared on Oprah and was interviewed by Geraldo Rivera. When he was tragically killed in a plane crash, Dr. Chambers left his family and a thriving business. His son, Paul Chambers, will candidly discuss the issues and decisions that needed to be made about the business. Some of their choices turned out well, some they now wish they had done differently. Paul Chambers is president of Core3 Solutions, also in Troy. His discussion headlines the Walsh Leadership Center’s Transitions Conference on November 1, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the College’s Troy campus.
The Conference will look at business transitions with a wide-angle lens and will include insights by a panel of business owners from HMS Products Inc., Harvey Hohauser and Associates, and Painter’s Supply Company. All three companies have seen transitions in recent years; some well-planned, others not so much.
