Art & Apples Festival Preview in Troy and other Metro Detroit Venues Through-Sept. 11

"Art On The Go" pieces to be housed at businesses in tri-county region ahead of September event - including Troy, Michigan

In anticipation of the 51st annual Art & Apples Festival, a program of the Paint Creek Center for the Arts, several metro Detroit businesses will give a sneak preview display of the art that will be featured at the festival in their buildings through Thursday, Sept. 8. Art & Apples is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 9 to Sunday, Sept. 11 in Rochester Municipal Park in the City of Rochester, Michigan.

“The Art & Apples Festival has become one of the top fine art fairs in the entire country with nearly 300 artists works on display and available for purchase,” said Tami Salisbury, executive director of Paint Creek Center for the Arts. “This is the first time we have brought the pieces out into the community so I am looking forward to giving the public a glimpse of the beautiful and unique pieces we will have at this year’s festival.”

Multiple artists will be featured in this “Art On The Go” initiative, include: Dennis Dodson of Gallery D, James W. Parker of ParkerParker Design Photo and Ginger Reuling of Fly Home Birdhouses. Other artists, along with the aforementioned artists, will have their pieces on exhibition at:
