Athens Marketing2 Class Pitches Business Ideas, Serves “Hawk Soup”

Athens High School’s Marketing2 Class is hosting an event for student entrepreneurs to present their business ideas on Wednesday, December 12, from 6 – 7:30 pm at Athens High School’s auditorium (4333 John R Rd, Troy, MI 4808).

For an entrance fee of $5, members of the community are invited to come to hear the entrepreneur's ideas and enjoy a soup dinner at the Terrace Café following the presentations. Then all in attendance will vote for their favorite business plan, and the student with the most votes will receive the proceeds raised from the event to use as seed money to start their business. The event’s goal is to encourage Athens students to express their ideas, build connections between local businesses and community, and inspire youth to choose an entrepreneurial path.
